How does this work?
Families in need of a little help will sign up their kids for blessing assistance. As givers sign up to bless others, we will e-mail out a virtual Christmas Blessing Tree list containing an anonymous list of those in need. Each child will have...
Individuals signed up to "bless others" will select one or more children to bless and provide an item the child needs and an item the child wants. The church will also provide some kind of stocking stuffer(s). If you would optionally like to assist with this by donating items or candy, or if you have a totally different way you would like to assist, you may indicate that on the "bless others" form.

- A pseudonym to protect their privacy (if multiple children are in the same household, that will be indicated).
- Basic information like age and gender.
- At least one item identified that the child needs.
- At least one item identified that the child wants.

DATES. When do sign-ups open and close?
Sign-ups to receive a blessing will begin on October 25th and continue until November 24th (Thanksgiving).

OOPS! Can I sign up late?
If the sign-up window is closed and you need help, contact us and let's see what we can do.
What we've seen in the past is that individuals will sometimes contact us up until the day before gift pick-up which makes it very difficult to ensure everyone's needs are met. Our priority is going to be with ensuring everyone signed up has their needs met, but we have a big heart and will do anything we can to make sure everyone has the opportunity to get the help they need.

DROP-OFF. When and where do I drop-off my gifts?
We will contact those who have signed-up to bless others with more details as dates get closer, but we are tentatively planning on dropping off gifts by Sunday, December 13th. We will almost certainly have other opportunities to drop off. Of course, you can also contact Pastor Joseph (pastor@meetatthewellcc.org) to set up other arrangements.

PICK-UP. When and where do I pick-up my blessings?
Pick-up windows will be on Friday, December 18th (PM) and Saturday, December 19th (AM).
If you can not come by the church during either of these two windows, please contact the church BEFORE the listed dates to make other arrangements. Due to volunteer limitations and safety, we can not guarantee that gifts can be delivered. If gifts are not claimed by the stated pick-up windows, and contact has not been made with the registered recipient, we may need to reallocate donated items to other individuals in need.
